About Me

Karin is a passionate educator with over 15 years of experience in schools and educational projects worldwide. Born in Toronto, Canada, into a multicultural Colombian-Armenian family, she speaks four languages and has lived in ten countries.

A certified Waldorf teacher (grades 1–8, Rudolf Steiner College Toronto), Karin has guided students in international schools, homeschooling communities, and online classrooms. She graduated her class at Guatemala’s first Waldorf school, mentored teachers at Bali’s first Waldorf school, and led a parent co-op in Mexico to integrate Waldorf principles into their educational project.

In 2021, Karin founded WONDERSTAND, a learning initiative designed to cultivate students' intellectual, artistic, and practical skills in an integrated and personal way. Her courses help children develop the confidence they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
