Beginner Spanish with Music and Games: La casa de los gatos (Waldorf Inspired)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

🎶 In this immersive, Waldorf-inspired Spanish course, students build foundational language skills through music, movement, storytelling, and play. Students learn new vocabulary—centered around the home—and use it in full sentences and simple dialogues.

🐈 Each class begins with a song or a verse to help children feel the language through rhythm and movement. Students then explore vocabulary through visual cues, games, and playful repetition. They learn to ask and answer questions like ¿Dónde está…?, ¿De qué color es…?, and ¿Cuántos gatos hay…? using complete phrases.

🗣 By the end of the course, students will not only recognize key vocabulary, but apply it in new contexts—supporting both comprehension and confidence in spoken Spanish.

📢 This is a SELF-PACED class. Your learner will be engaged through a variety of activities. There are eight video lessons of approximately 15 minutes each, plus printable worksheets and a set of cards to play vocabulary games. Advance at your own pace!

SPANISH LANGUAGE LEVEL | This course is suitable for:

✅ Beginners. No prior experience needed—some familiarity with colors and numbers 1–10 is helpful. Reading and writing skills are not necessary.

Lesson 3 A: Describing with Color | "¿Dónde está el gato gris?"

Lesson 3 B: New Setting: La finca | "¿Cuántos cosas azules hay en la finca?"

Lesson 4 A: Answering in the Negative | "El gato blanco no está en el baño."

Lesson 4 B: Review & Guessing Game | Putting it all together. "¿Puedes adivinar?"
