Forming Cursive: A Handwriting Adventure Across Alphabets (Waldorf, Geography)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This interdisciplinary, self-paced course integrates movement, art, writing, storytelling, geography, and creativity to enhance cursive handwriting skills. Through sixteen engaging video lessons, students will:

🤹 MOVEMENT: Participate in coordination exercises that promote spatial awareness, rhythmic movement, and mid-line crossing while reciting short verses. This prepares them for focused work and supports healthy development.

💠 ART: Engage in form drawing, creating symmetrical patterns to improve spatial orientation, visual tracking, balance, and attention to detail.

👉 WRITING: Learn and practice cursive letters with guided instruction and provided practice sheets, reinforcing proper stroke formation and handwriting fluency. The complete uppercase and lowercase D'Nealian script is taught in this course.

🌍 GEOGRAPHY: Solve riddles that introduce different alphabets, languages, and countries, fostering curiosity about diverse cultures and global perspectives.

🎒 STORYTELLING: Follow along with an engaging and memorable story that weaves together the lessons.

💡CREATIVITY: Develop alliteration skills by crafting humorous phrases, making the practice of target letters enjoyable and enhancing linguistic creativity.

COURSE STRUCTURE & BENEFITS
